Special Moments
During the winter of 2010, Briarwood hosted a couple who loved our setting so much that they recommended it to their son Dustin who was looking for a romantic place to take his girlfriend Emily.
The Happy Couple
Fast forward to February 2011. Dustin and Emily arrived for a winter retreat full of relaxation and fun. They went snowshoeing, visited the animals, took a lovely walk through our winter wonderland and ended up at an idyllic spot that Dustin had secretly chosen earlier in the day. It was a place where he had hidden the engagement ring he hoped Emily would accept.
Dustin popped the question. Emily said yes! The newly engaged couple returned to the farm where they were toasted with champagne and good wishes. Our congratulations to Dustin & Emily.
